Indee has fallen off the map

Saw a few of their games this year and oh my they have fallen off the map and back to the same old Independence that I have seen in the past...

Not sure what they are trying to do on offense, but it was bad... I don't believe they had positive yards at halftime and maybe had one 1st down...

Most of their problems seem to be on the offensive side of the ball that doesn't seem to help out their defense.

Not entirely familiar with the Independence program, but just going through their past seasons it would look like it was a case of them having a strong class come through and graduating last year:

2008 - 0-9
2009 - 0-9
2010 - 1-8
2011 - 1-8
2012 - 3-6
2013 - 4-5
2014 - 6-4
2015 - 8-2
2016 - 0-6 thus far

I think deeds8116 might have it right. They just had a good class come through, and they graduated last spring.

That said, I heard their freshman team was undefeated before they lost to Xavier, and there are a lot of sophomores contributing on offense. It looked like their varsity roster was 14 seniors, 15 juniors and 15 sophomores. In addition, I know their leading rusher and receiver couldn't play last Friday because of injury, which really doesn't help when you're already behind the 8-ball.

But yeah ... minus 5 yards rushing against Xavier, and 45 yards total offense, and they've only scored once all year. It's been a rough one.
