I'll be linking this thread on the front page so post game updates in here now! Also add last minute predictions as well1

Creston struggling to make tackles on the outside in open space, allows Heelan to drive with ease for their second score of the game. 14-7 Crusaders, just under 2 minutes remaining in the 1st quarter

Again, Heelan with no struggles moving the ball offensively. The big hefties up front allow Heelan to take a 21-7 lead. Creston is having a hard time getting off blocks, and Heelan is running wild. If Creston can't answer here, and can't improve on defense, we could see this one get way out of hand

Tobin proving to be too much for Creston's defense, runs it in for another score, and with the extra point Heelan leads 28-7. 6:23 left in the 1st half. Tobin with 177 yards on 14 carries

Creston able to drive down to the Heelan 5 yard line, but throws an interception on a halfback pass. Heelan takes over with 22 seconds left in the half. Heelan up 28 to 7

Heelan takes a knee and heads into the locker room up by 3 touchdowns.

Heelan having no trouble at all moving the ball against this Creston defense, racking up 250 yards of offense in the first half.

Creston can't seem to find its rhythm offensively, struggling to move the ball overall. They are able to move the ball when they go to a wildcat formation, but it is obvious each time where they are running. Heelan is dominating the outsides and really has set the corner very well on every play, never giving up contain.

If Creston wants any chance to climb back into this one, they need to figure out how to run the ball in their normal offensive set. Also, they need to figure out how to get off blocks and contain Tobin on the run.

Creston fumbles on their opening possession of the 2nd half, Heelan recovers and takes advantage of Creston's blunder with a touchdown pass on the first play. Heelan up 35-7

Things go from bad to worse for Creston as they throw an interception, and after a nice return and with the help from a late hit penalty, Heelan gets great field position and again connects for another touchdown pass on the first play on offense. Heelan pulling away 42-7.

End of 3 has Heelan leading 49-7 but Heelan has the ball in Creston territory.

Tobin, who I would assume will not play the fourth quarter, finished with 247 yards on 19 carries with 3 touchdowns (stat according to Sioux City Journal sportswriter on Twitter).

Keep an eye on #33, freshman RB/DB Saybein Clark, spelling Tobin. You'll be hearing a lot about him in the coming years. He & brother Odessa are among the fastest kids on the team.

Creston can't even stop Heelan's freshman running back as he runs with ease for a touchdown. PAT good. 56-7 in favor of Heelan.

here is my take on the game. Heelan is the real deal. Big, Fast, and Physical. Offensively they were able to manhandle Creston up front, allowing them to run freely. Never forced to turn to the pass game, which clearly they are able to do as well. Creston just didn't have the team speed to match Heelans, and the score is a clear indicator of that.

Props to a Creston team that no one expected to be here, but it will be a while until they are able to play at the level needed to win a title.
