Hey @Bill_D

Thanks but I am recovering from one of the best games I ever saw. That was a heck of a hard fought game. I hoping this means there is a new sheriff in town.
Congrats Bill. I thought for sure LSU was heading for another 2012 heartbreak.

Amazing all time Classic. That’ll be up there in Tiger Stadium lore like the 2007 Florida game and the Earthquake game.

When two teams storm their field in one season after beating you, you're the new Sheriff.

2nd time for lsu this season 😂
Yeah, and still having Ole Miss on the schedule could provide a trifecta. Think of this, if Bama were to lose at Miss and the fans DON’T storm the field…..you’re not only not the sheriff anymore but…….just another game 🤔

With all due respect, not sure the offense is the problem. Got to fix those backers and secondary. And to be honest, I think Young’s shoulder is an issue, just didn’t seem to see those crisp throws….something is off.

Both sides are the problem. Getting only 9 points on 4 trips to the red zone through 2.5 quarters isn’t getting it done with the offensive talent on this team.

Remember their first drive ended with a poorly thrown pass by Young…..again not what we’re accustomed to.

Hard fought game, LSU deserved to win. Congrats @Bill_D

For the record, I don’t buy into the “Saban has lost the edge” talk, but if we don’t get rid of Bill O’Brien I’m going to have a shitfit.
I couldn’t believe it when Saban hired him. He absolutely coached the Texans to oblivion after they were a playoff team a few years in a row and getting better before he came to the Texans.

I think O’Brien gets his props and recommendations from the New England HC. Saban and he are confidants and Saban takes his recommendations a lot of the time on assistants. He was an OC at New England in the early days. But IMO O’Brien is at best a journeyman coach.

Kelly found a jewel in Matt House as a DC. He was the LB coach at KC and one of the real architects of the Chiefs D. He might be a NFL DC by now but he likes coaching college kids or so he says when ask why he left the NFL to come to LSU.

I gained a lot of respect for Brice Young last night. House pretty well had the AL O shut down. Even though Young had big problems last night with the LSU D His skill did keep AL in the game as he made a few big plays a less talented QB could not have made.

We outgained LSU by 100 yards and had 465 yards of total offense. LSU made the plays when they counted, but I wouldn’t quite say you had the offense shut down. Hell we had a running back that averaged almost 7 yards a carry.

My guess is that they would...but perhaps the law of diminishing returns would come into play.

Yea, Saban's edge isn't something he can lose. It's part of his makeup. So is stubbornness...which is why we still had both coordinators in 2022.

One or both will be gone soon...perhaps before the bowl game.

The problem was that AL had to throw 52 passes to do it at a success rate of about 50% or so. Those are never good numbers showing an effective offense unless the scoring goes way up..But whatever.

You’re not making sense, you’re just pumping sunshine up a guy’s ass who is considered a no-name.

The amount of times we threw the ball is irrelevant. We had possession four less minutes, and we outgained LSU by 100 yards which is also irrelevant since we lost, but your comment was retarded.

No. Five times when you reached the red zone, it resulted in 4 FG and an interception, 12 points instead of 35 points. You could not tun the ball effectively. When was there an AL team like that. So you were playing his game. Young was under pressure the entire game. That’s why I said he made some big lays. He was all you had going for you and he made some nice plays between the 20s. LSU’s defense against scoring is good.

You either don’t understand statistics, or you’re just being your typical homer self. Probably both.

Our top RB averaged 6.6 ypc. Our #3 guy averaged 1.6 but had 2 TDs and as a team we averaged 4.6. LSU played well when they needed to, but again, your premise that your DC is some prized jewel is nothing short of retarded.

Well, AL supposedly has better players than LSU as per the books and runs up the yardage, what did you say 465 yds or something. Yet LSU has good D against scoring, not only against AL but other teams per your GOAT HC. This proved out as I said.

if you offense is so good why are you wanting to change the OC?

I don’t think it’s good. But you sunshine pumping your DC is premature and dumb to say the least.

Nothing supports him “shutting bama down” unless you consider Pete Golding shutting LSU down.

Wonder what @Bill_D thinks about this.

The guy was a fraudulent cat? He walked down and said something to the fan and retreated to the AL cops.

I really think nothing about it because other than what I said I know nothing about it. I don’t have any idea of why or how it started. I do know in addition to my remarks above that LSU guys got in the LSU fan‘s face and told him to cease Ian’s desist.

If I got in the red zone 7 times and came away with 4FG, 1 Int and 2 TD I would think someone slowed me down, if they didn’t stop me. Oh well. Whatever.

As always, you are fvcking FOS when you defend LSU with crap like this. No other LSU fan that I know of has even attempted to defend this POS.

The drunk loser LSU fan kept blocking our Assistant Director of Player Development from leaving the field. The ADPD got pissed and told the Louisiana State Troopers (not AL cops) what was happening.

Another Louisiana cop told him to fvck off or he was going to jail. His less drunk friend then pulled him away.

Defend this crap like you always do. You're alone even in the purple and gold camp.

Like I said, congrats on making the stops when you had to.

But your claim that you “stopped the offense” while getting outgained by 100 yards when Bama had the ball 4 less minutes than LSU is dumber than dogshit.

Again, grown men running on the field.

That dude was the typical drunk ass fan. Even when the cop was warning him he was pushing it. I’ve been that guy before so I know something about it. Not on a football field though. I have rules.
