GMG -New District

This is how I see (early I know) this district shaking down. B-G-M will be tough, but outside that it is anyone's district. GMG beat North Mahaksa, and Iowa Valley easily last year. I see my Wolverine group in running for 2nd-3rd in the district! It will be interesting to see who we pick up non-district this year.

BGM loses alot of their horses. Will be interesting to see what they can do next fall.

They do bring back alot of size, but as I recall the majority if not all of their skill guys were SRs.

I will be shocked if BGM doesn't breeze through this district.

GMG losses almost all of their offense from last year I don't see how you think they are going to improve again.

Here is what I see

BP- Loses their top two rushers, but does return some other skill players and they are always tough
BGM- They lose a lot but I still think are the class of this district
Colfax-Mingo- Don't know much about them, traditionally weak, but return some contributors who are 3 years starters (quikstats)
Iowa Valley- Way down last year, it will be interesting to see if they can bounce back
GMG- Like I said lose best two players, but they do get pretty good participation which is always a bonus in class A
L-S- Team that has been good of late, but don't return a whole lot
Montezuma- Look at wrote about L-S
North Mahaska- Been down as of late, but a lot of tradition, and were rather young last year

GMG will give them a good game. Not sure if they can come away with a win, but it will be close.

I know GMG plays some of these teams in JV. How did they stack up this year against them in JV? JV doesn't always equal varsity success but I do know BGM and Montezuma were very strong at that level this past season. I know LS, Monte, BP and BGM all lost some key pieces but they all have good coaches and capable players waiting to show people they belong.

GMG is going to be competitive in this district. North Mahaska has lost to them 2 years in a row now, they suck. Haven't heard much about Colfax-Mingo the past couple of years so pretty sure they suck. Same with LS. Bgm is good hands down. Monte your up there. Iowa Valley should just quit their program for a couple of years LMAO. And BP better be ready, they scored on GMGs defense once last season and the rest was on special teams. The plainsgirls will get a taste of their own medicine. BOOM! WOLVERINES ALL THE WAY! GMG PRIDE! FIGHT EM BOYS! BE DIRTY AND MEAN!

North Mahaska will be back up, they had a big group of juniors playing. I see North Mahaska winning by 10. Colfax was down, but they were down in 2A, not class A, I am not sure where this 8 year old has seen that LS sucked. Monte is very good, and will hopefully be nice to us. Iowa Valley is bad. Belle Plaine may have only scored once on offense, but what are you saying because they scored the rest (14 pts) on special teams that makes us better? Nope. Wolverines all the way? Now I say that sometimes, and I don't even believe it. You can't honestly either. I think we can honestly get 2 wins next year (if the state gives us two easy games non-district, but SE Webster is gone now)

Your posts are gold, I hope you stay around all offseason and post garbo like this and look ridiculous come season time. Lynnville-Sully wasn't exactly terrible last season, they were just in a tough district and they also had Lisbon on the ropes late into their playoff game two years ago, I think you're thinking about a Lynnville-Sully team from around 2010. GMG will be lucky to make the postseason next season I'm assuming. Get back to Pre-algebra class now pal.
