“Right now I am actually going on an official visit to Southwest Minnesota State. I have a bunch of visits liked up at Morningside, UNI, Sioux Falls, Northwest Missouri State, and Iowa Western.”
Offers
“Right now I have one for sure. I know the amount from Ellsworth. Morningside said that they would offer and Southwest said that that would offer. I don’t know about UNI, Sioux Falls, or Northwest. I’ll find out on the official if they’ll give me money and how much. Right now, I am waiting to see what UNI will do. If UNI doesn’t offer, I’ll probably go which Division II school is the best fit. If I don’t fit with either, I’ll go to Ellsworth or Iowa Western for two years and see what I can get after.”
His future position
“It all depends. Northwest Missouri and I think Sioux Falls said offensive line. UNI has said that you can you start at defense and go from there. It just depends where they want me at. Northwest Missouri State said possibly tight end, even though I’ve never played it before.”
If he thinks UNI will offer
“It is kind of up in the air. They have been visiting me a lot at school and pretty much every week they have. What Coach Nelson told me is that he thinks I have a lot of potential and would be a good fit for UNI. He just doesn’t know what they are going to do financially yet. I don’t know if they are waiting to see who else is on the board. They said that they would send me on an official so hopefully we will find out then.”
A final decision
“If UNI were to offer right off the bat, I’d probably take strong consideration towards that. If not, I think I’ll wait a day or two after signing day to see if someone else will try coming in. I may see which school is the front runner for me after these visits.”
