something, especially since you have, in the past, seemingly dismissed the board's take on liberal media outlets. Last night on Bill Maher, a MSNBC contributor named Malcolm Nance called everyone who voted for Trump a racist and a tribalist. Nance, who is black, doubled down on the statement when Maher questioned him. What are your thoughts on this?
Here's mine: this past Tuesday, around 70 million people voiced their support for Trump. That means that a contributor to a major media outlet has labeled 70 million people in an incredibly hateful, and divisive, way. How is this country supposed to move forward if major media outlets are going to let a person like that have such a visible platform to spew that kind of ignorance and stupidity? To me, it could be said that this country has been at war with itself for the last decade, and particularly the last 4 years. Guys like Nance have fueled that. So, now that Biden appears to be the next POTUS, what happens next. In 1865, which might have been the last time the country was this divided, John Wilkes Booth did the single dumbest thing in the history of the US. Had Lincoln not been assassinated, the South's recovery would have been exponentially easier. Who is going to be Lincoln for the US now, sans the gunshot? I ask because with guys like Nance talking, it sure seems like the left has people who actually want to punish Trump supporters.
Sorry for the length of this post.
