I didn’t know who she was so I looked up a couple of her songs just now. I actually agree that her sound is refreshing in today’s country music, it has an older country feel to it. Not sure blaming sexism and racism is going to help her bring in the crowd that wants that older sound though.
I think she wants a guarantee that if you're a woman, or a POC, that your music will be supported and loved.

But I’m also capable of recognizing (without being racist) that one race’s talent pool is much better, and the sample size much larger.
Well, the Hawkeyes field not one but three (including All-American Riley Moss) in their secondary, not too shabby.
Good to know I’ve just been passing up good music for so many years because of the race/sex of people making it for so many years… idk why my radio station is so racist, I clearly couldn’t tell through the speakers there weren’t enough POC singing…
