Still lots of size and talent, but they will be a different team if its without their 1st team all-stater.

City High girls win the rematch of last years Championship game prevailing over West in overtime.
West High crushes City 66-36 behind 30 from McCaffery. Brauns chips in 8.
McCaffery looked great. Inside, outside, rebounding...he had everything working. First time I'd seen him play and I was impressed. Plays smoothly, but aggressively, can score in a variety of ways. Excited to have him join the Hawks next year

Stopped out to the Linn Mar/Xavier game. Linn Mar gets the win 79-74 in 5, yes 5 Overtime’s. Linn Mar has shooters all over the floor that really help spread it out for Hutcheson. I think he ended with 31.
Xavier is young and inexperienced, free throws hurt them late but they have some players.

I’m not surprised West won, but am a bit surprised that it was by that much. Thought city high would be much improved this year. They just off tonight?
I expected a closer game too. But, I thought McCaffery just dominated much of the game. City couldn't slow him down enough. Lots of teams will have that problem this season.
