CMB played much better tonight after being blasted by Greene County Tuesday (they gave up 66 in the first half against GC). Starting a Sr, Jr, 2 So and a Fr, 3 of them under 5'9. Starters scored all of their points tonight, Will Clapper scored 17, all in the 2nd half. Were down by 22 in the 3rd qtr, cut it to 6 with the ball and 2 min left before losing by 10.

My family is from North Iowa and I've heard that Mason City group is supposed to be their best since they last made it to state in 2001-2002. Not a flashy group, but they're going to surprise a lot of people this season.
According to the IHSAA site West Delaware beat Clear Creek- Amana and not the other way around. How good is Des Moines Hoover? They beat West Des Moines Valley 45 to 30. The Osky- Pella Christian game must have been a barn-burner: Oskaloosa 76, Pella Christian 70 in 2 OTs. Any comments about these games, and others?
Des Moines Hoover should be really good. They've got a bunch of athletic guards that can penetrate and D up to go along with one of the best big man in the state in Doug Wilson. Title contender.
