Biggest upsets were the Dubuque MVC schools over MAC programs. Not a lot of shockers otherwise.

Senior, Hempstead and North Scott are underclassmen-dominated outfits which are going to make a lot of noise in the next few years. Most of Senior's scoring last night was from freshmen and sophomores.

I listened on the radio, and as the Senior coach, Wendell Eimers, said in the paper this morning, it was a very mistake-filled game. It wasn't a slow-down game; it was back and forth pretty fast, with lots and lots of steals and turnovers, and nervous energy. North Scott missed a ton of threes trying to catch up in the second half, but couldn't hit. Senior beat North Scott by 15 earlier in Dubuque this year, so the win was no fluke. Senior was led by sophomore Carter Stevens with 12 and freshman Noah Carter (younger brother of former Wahlert star Josh Carter) who also had 12.
