Iowa high school baseball is officially over and it’s now onto football season. So excited for the upcoming season and to see how it unfolds. Anyone have a bold prediction for the season? Surprise team or player making a name for themselves?

I've heard WB's QB situation is a bit dicey. Anybody have info? They may as well just give it to Lukavsky and let him rumble 25x a game anyway.

He might have to be the bellcow this year to help them make a good run at the postseason. Anyone coming up through the ranks at the qb position for WB? What will that spot look like?

Is it WBs district to lose? Bellevue and Cascade were both hit good with graduation and lose some very key contributors. Your outlook?

I would say if the Bears remain healthy they will definitely be one of the better teams in their district.

They lost Cornwell, but RB Tanner Lukavsky remains as does top WR Trey Eagle. The Bears return three OL.

WB is green at a couple of positions, but, defensively, they could be fairly stout. Returning 8 of 11 starters certainly helps.

I see WB at 1, Cascade at 2, and Bellevue at 3.
