Rebels make it to the final for the 3rd year in a row. First time this has ever been accomplished in class A. Rebels come into the game with a very balanced offensive attack with a stiff defense. I was impressed with Bishop Garrigans athletic QB. It looked like BG had some size at wide out. That could give GR some fits. In my GR homer opinion, BG will have trouble stopping GR's offensive athletes. BG will have to be successful at keeping GR's offense off the field by running the ball effectively.

I see GR winning it again. I don't think Garrigan will be able to run on the Rebels defense. The only way I think this game is close is if it's low scoring otherwise I see GR winning comfortably. Behr is a good running back for Garrigan so he could make some big plays.

Bullhitter I will bite... I like Hawkeye above am a homer and think Garrigan will win. I'm not much of a stats guy but I will say this no one on this board thought Garrigan would get past west Hancock mainly because they didn't think they were tested or the other team was better... But here we are and they passed that test plus another last Friday. Now don't get me wrong gladbrook is the reigning defending champion in class A it's gonna be a great game and both teams deserve it!

here's why I like gr in the ship. The line of gr is just big enough, but have great feet, very athletic linemen. The outside backers are fast and mussig in the middle seems to be in the right place all the time, while attacking down hill. WR and DB's are fast ball hawkers. Finally I give GR the edge in the "it" factor. Something in the kids mindset changed after 13. That year they missed going to the dome, the well, and soccer losing in substate games. An assistant football coach made the comment of being sick and tired of being one game short in everything. 14 the bubble busted, runner up football, state champ basketball, ect ect. These kids simply refuse to lose.

Honestly I was shocked how well Gladbrook handled st ansgar bcuz all we heard all year was how they were the real deal and there huge oline will wear u down ect ect but then again we heard that last year with another team... I think gladbrook will b up cuz they are the defending champs and I think Garrigan will b up cuz they've been counted out all year and the kids know it and have said it in interviews

Here is a stat for you tho Garrigan has made it to the dome 4 times in school history and in those 4 times they have reached the champ game each time 1 champ 2 runner-ups and 1 tbd... If I'm thinking right gladbrooks trend is similar

Nice game Rebels. Overcame some costly turnovers to pull out the championship. Great game by both teams.
