The regular season has ended for everybody, it's time to take a look at the final polls from the Des Moines Register, Cedar Rapids Gazette, Radio Iowa and the AP. And things got, well ... a little goofy.

Here's the composite from all four polls. You'll see in 5A the top three teams are separated by one point. In 5A there's a seven-point gap between four and five; in 4A a seven-point gap between three and four; and in 3A a(n almost) seven-point gap between two and three:

The final 5A polls. The Gazette sticks with Ankeny at 1, where they've been throughout most of the season, even as Radio Iowa and AP have them at 3. Likewise, those two polls have the only remaining unbeaten Pleasant Valley on top, while the Gazette has them at third and the Register all the way down at 4.

The Gazette has Waukee Northwest in a tie for 6; nobody else has them ranked - meanwhile, the Gazette has no room for local teams Kennedy or Prairie even though they show up in other polls. Johnston ranks sixth (or tied) in all of the polls except the AP, who puts the Dragons all the way down at 9.

The final 4A polls. The Register actually moves Lewis Central down a spot to put Xavier first; the Gazette stubbornly continues to put the Saints third; and the AP decides to move Xavier down a spot into third as well. Things aren't too weird otherwise, although Radio Iowa gives northwest/north central Iowa no respect.

And the final polls in 3A. There's quite a range of opinions about where ADM and Humboldt should rank, but everybody agrees on North Polk and Nevada, at least.
