.22 long rifle in my 1955 Marlin rifle w/ butt loading and it holds 18 bullets... I figure I can hit it at least once with that many attempts. If they show up around here I’m loading up the 300 win mag and Diavari scope. It’ll be every rednecks preoccupation till they’re all down.
It’s amazing that these bewildered municipalities haven’t sent their sharp-shooters out to blast them. That should make the cia or whoever speak up about whom they belong to..22 long rifle in my 1955 Marlin rifle w/ butt loading and it holds 18 bullets... Really wish the new administration was in Washington while this shit is happening.
On another note, use EXTREME caution if you begin firing a rifle into the air. Obviously I would caution against it. Even if your rounds don't end up in your neighbors living room wall and you somehow hit the drone, the one you hit might be a legally flying $15k model belonging to another neighbor. Or worse yet, a $100k model belonging to the Sheriff's Office.
While I would like to try the .22LR rifle, I wouldn’t do it on the 1mm to 1 chance that stray bullet would come down and hit someone. Seems like I heard of that happening somewhere not too long ago (maybe middle eastern country where they shoot rifles in the air daily?)… I do have a full choke 20g Win that is also 60 yo… was my dad’s dove hunting gun back in the 60’s… he’d shoot them and I was the gopher than ran across the field and got it. Learn pretty quickly you cannot take your eye off where the bird came down or you’d lose it. Can’t tell you how many times I tripped over dirt clods looking ahead instead of down… fun times.Really wish the new administration was in Washington while this shit is happening.
