Don Bosco had the toughest schedule?

I was talking to a couple people from DB and they said they HATED there regular season schedual. They felt like they got hosed. They were saying how they had one of the toughest district and they got paired with strong non district teams too. I was kinda shocked to here this because I thought they had a easy schedual? What are everyone thoughs on this?

Re: Don Bosco had the toughest schedual?

I don't know of a single Bosco fan who would say the schedule was tough...if anything...they didn't get tested enough

Re: Don Bosco had the toughest schedual?

They should have been happy with their schedule that was laid in front of them. It doesn't compare to anything like District 2 or District 7 had to go thru this year. District 2 was murderers row with WBM, MMC, GTRA and the way it looks HLP wasn't a gimme game either with them beating BV last night. I would like to think if DB was in that district they would have had an awfully tough time coming out of that 9-0 like they did in their district.

Re: Don Bosco had the toughest schedual?

Which ever Bosco fan told you that needs to stop sniffing glue. More than once Bosco had more cheerleaders than the opponent had players. Bosco is good, but, other than facing a very good HLV team, to paraphrase high90school, the schedule was hardly a murderers row.

Re: Don Bosco had the toughest schedual?

No disrespect intended to anyone, but yes, other than HLV the schedule was a bit soft. I missed the games that were turning into decent rivalry games with Janesville and NK. Preston always brought out the best of both squads as well. Was glad Springville stayed in the mix.

Re: Don Bosco had the toughest schedual?

This has to be a bullshit post. Just some asshat attempting to stir the pot.

Re: Don Bosco had the toughest schedual?

I heard the same thing! I also heard that Bosco was moving down to 6-man, because you guys (or girls) are being so mean on here! On a serious note, why don't we actually start talking about relevant topics instead of whining about Bosco all the time and how everything is so unfair that they have had a good team for the past three years! We have a lot of really good football teams playing right now, and I am really excited to see how tough each one of them are! Now that is a topic that is worth discussing!

Re: Don Bosco had the toughest schedual?

I know Mornigside is not from Bosco as Bosco kids know how to spell schedule.

Having talked to my fair share of bosco fans, I'm going to say there was some miscommunication between you two. The only thing I've heard is fans saying they're worried about playoffs because they've only played 1 halfway decent team.

edit: or OP is outright lying to try and stir the pot.

Re: Don Bosco had the toughest schedual?

I may be wrong, but I'm pretty sure Morningside Man is not from this planet as he is obviously confused with most of his posts...like the CCE-RU game. Or maybe he is just clueless. Either way good work on getting people talking.

The sad part is he said he was a college football player on another thread. Entrance exams must not be too tough.

Bosco had a decent schedule and they were challenged enough to prime the pump for the playoffs. I would not be too concerned if I was a Bosco fan if they were challenged. They have depth, experience and are built for this time of the year.

If it was Morningside... They accepted Brandon Wegher, so qualifying must be pretty easy.

Not the first time MorningsideMan has tried to stir the pot, I happen to remember him saying that CCE would win a game by 35+. Sounds like a troll to me.

okay let's get something straight. Our boys have lost one game in their entire 8-man career and it was in the semi-finals...and don't tell me that that's not something to be proud of for EVERYONE in our community. So how about instead of hating on us on here get a frieken life!

Troll post full of fail

I think the 1 loss was also in the finals to MMC. MMC has also been to the state semi-finals every year (3) and up to this point has played NF for the right to go to the Dome. This year you get NF and MMC vs WBM (who we've played also each year I believe to advance) it's going to be interesting. First, I believe WBM vs MMC will be one heck of a game and winner to the finals as so the winner of DB vs NF.
