Kinda surprised with east sac score but IKM is always a tough team. SV was game of the week on many fronts. Back up Qb which started the game was injured and 3rd string came in and won the game, with a little luck, but won.
Now it would not surprise me to see SCC win this week but I think east sac wins a close one. SV will win easily.

Interesting first week with a couple of surprises in there. As for week 2-

SV
Mount Ayr
SCC
Kuemper
Nod Valley

Winners from Week 2 in District 8 were SV, Shenandoah, and Red Oak.

District plays starts this week:
East Sac (0-2) @ SV (2-0) - ESC is one of the best 0-2 teams in the state...should be a good game, toss up right now.
Shenandoah (2-0) @ Red Oak (1-1) - Shenandoah got a close win vs. Mount Ayr....should be good game but I'll take Shenandoah
Kuemper (0-2) @ WCV (0-2) - Kuemper is also a pretty good team although they are 0-2....they win big here to get rolling
AHST (1-1) @ Clarinda (1-1) - Clarinda lost to Creston last week...this also could be a good game but I'll take Clarinda in a close one.

Southeast valley with big win on fri. night, to many mistakes by both teams but last drive by jaguars was executed perfectly. Shenandoah up next for jags in battle of unbeaten tems in D-8. Jags should win this one. Clarinda travels to ESC ,ESC must win this one but Clarinda should take this game.

Huge game for southeast valley this week at carroll. With 1st string QB back from injury, it will be interesting if coach goes with Brand or Davis. Weather could play a factor in this one as we turn the page to Oct. Go Jags!!!
