i see a 4 team race for the district title when all is done,....i got to say glenwood is probably in the drivers seat, with possibly the best defensive player in the state. after the rams, my thoughts are creston, carroll and harlan, and maybe a couple of teams playing spolier throughout the season. possibly one of the spolier teams pulling off a non-favorite win.....as for harlan, they play glenwood and creston right off the bat, and i see them having to win at least one of these games to have a chance for the playoffs....anybody eles have thoughts on this district, who might win it?

My guess on the players name from Glenwood is Sanders. I have not seen him play yet, hoping they match up with Heelan later this year come playoff time. I have heard that Sanders is the best defensive linemen that's come out of Glenwood since the Davis kid that played for the hawks. I was told definately best Glenwood D- linemen in the last 7 years. I think he committed to SDSU

Thank you, I will look him up! One downfalls of having kids that play is not being able to just pick a game or player like Sanders to go watch in person. Would have loved being at DCG-Pella game Friday night.
Love me some high school football

sorry, english not my best subject, i liked math....

glenwoods best defensive player is Caleb Sanders, who will play on the defensive line for South Dakota State. Caleb Sanders had a breakout seaon during his junior year resulting in a few schools seeking his sevices, including south dakota state. caleb sanders is also a highy ranked wrestler, resulting in quick feet and arm action. caleb no doubt is one of the better defensive players in the district...sort of reminds me of the likes of kevin kruse that played for harlan, that also went to sdsu. unfortunately for kevin, football did not suceed for him at the level, and concentrated the remainder of his college career studying.

I really think Glenwood is in the drivers seat as well! Except their win against Thomas Jefferson was not that great! Harlan sure showed Greene County what's up! I might have to pick them as a front runner as well!

Where did you copy this from?

Comparing Sanders to Kruse? One is Dline and the other was a back. Come on Ron did you see these guys play? You aren't getting your info from novotney are you?

Greene County was over 200 lbs across the front on both sides of the ball. They were missing Joe Towers their all district linebacker as well.
