If you knew how stupid that crap 2 about getting a student killed sounds you would run from saying it. I will tell you the same thing I told Pop and ”brown nose”. There were at least 150 people on the field when that happened. There were at least 50 people in the ND office AD when the weather was discussed.
There were at least 2 Federal agencies and 3 law enforcement groups who investigated the incident. So did the University of Notre Dame. I am pretty sure that just about everybody within site or sound in the office or on the field was interviewed. It would be impossible to cover up any foul play. If even one person broke with some damning evide there would have been a lot more. None was found.
The fact of the matter is the weather was discussed and Kelly ask a coach to check out the weather and see if it was okay to practice outside. The coach checked and reported conditions were all right.
As for the FSU game it was klusterfu*k of errors for a first game on the field from 2 muffed punts to 4 procedure calls to 3 bad snaps plus wrong protection for pass protection plus missed scores plus 2 blocked kicks. The only bright spot was in the last 9 minutes of the 4th quarter they had cleaned up things some and drove for 2 TD , the last one in about 95 secs to only have the extra point point blocked. It looks like we have gone from the best PK in the country to the worst PK.in the country including HS.
