I have offered a rare opportunity for a social interaction with Dhe ( we will both end up in jail for violating some public disturbance ).

It’s ok .. I’m being handled. 1 got about 3 yrs to close some big fast track infrastructure deals. This is one stop shopping for som big municipalities.Be careful about doing too much, too soon.
I won’t be doing anything that I’m not doing sitting in this recliner…the dr put me on neurontin so I’m a lot better this week… still being carful.This. Don't go full throttle, Gator. It ain't your time yet.
Fahrenheit is very good. Outstanding views of UptownNeed a recommendation for for a 5* dinner for some VIPs… we’ll catch up somewhere for an adult beverage. I’ve heard about Fahrenheit??

Try Lyrica. Neurontin is only effective in about 30% of people.Been taking it (Gabapentin) for almost 15 years and it ain't done sh^t for me.
Neuropathy?Lyrica worked for me...but it also made me a little more goofy than normal. Both were hard to come off of for me as well.
That's my problem, mostly feet. Diabetes Type 2...Neuropathy?
Same here. I take alpha lipoic acid and that helpsThat's my problem, mostly feet. Diabetes Type 2...

My dad took Lyrica for a little over a year for neuropathy. He had to stop taking it because it made him seem drunk. It probably led to him missing the signs of his first two minor strokes. Then he had a TIA and fell/blacked out, and that’s when they found all three on his scans. Then they found out he had a blood clot from his ankle to his groin. That was the first five months of his “retirement” last year. He’s been off lyrica for about 8 months now, thankfully managing the neuropathy without meds for the most part.Neuropathy?
Wow. Rough stretch. For some people it’s excruciating. For me it’s relatively mild with some occasional discomfort. Sounds like he falls in that category. I’m used to it but sometimes it’s a pain in the foot.My dad took Lyrica for a little over a year for neuropathy. He had to stop taking it because it made him seem drunk. Yeh, his isn’t too bad anymore. He was traveling a lot, including long road trips leading up to retirement, which I think made it worse. It’s only “bad” now when he overdoes it. He’ll need a day taking it easy afterward. He’s only 63, so hopefully it doesn’t hold him back too much.Wow. Rough stretch. For some people it’s excruciating. Pretty sure it’s indicated for diabetic peripheral neuropathy. I hate Pfizer, but it’s worth a shot. That's my problem, mostly feet. Diabetes Type 2...

Are you about to start chemo? If so, prayers buddy. Was talking oncologist 3 weeks ago asked about some numbness in my fingers, ring and pinky extending into hand. He said thats carpel tunnel not neuropy from the chemo. Friday talking to new PA before chemo, going though whole history, got to the fingers, he said if only outside of the ring finger and pinky, it's actually Ulner (funny bone nerve), sure enough one side of finger normal, other slightly numb. It's actually at the elbow. Different chair at work using arm rest more and sleeping with elbow bent stretches the nerve. If I rest my arm on car door pushes in just the wrong spot as well. Only 2 days of trying not to do those things so well see if it goes away.
My memory is dogshit, so apologies if I’d forgotten that. No, it's 3+ years, slightly different login name, different job, different computer. Almost daily reader, but don't post much. IV colo rectal, just in liver currently. CEA's climbing. One of the few Iowa guys.
Daughter graduated from Iowa Law Enforcement Acadamy 3 weeks ago. Official park ranger now. Wedding in Glacier Nat park this summer. Thinking I need a 10mm bear gun for the trip.
Dang bro. If you don’t mind me asking, how old are you? My ex wife was diagnosed with stage 4 colorectal in 2011, at the age of 27. By the time she had symptoms, it had already gotten into her lymph nodes and liver. Emory University did a liver resection and got the rest of it. That chemo was brutal though. She would go in Mondays for an infusion, then come home with a pump for 2 days. By Wednesday evening she was beaten down. That’s tough. My ex used to have the problems with her feet just splitting open as well. Looked horrible, so I know it hurt like hell. Some days it was so bad she couldn’t even walk. It was mainly the oral chemo dose she took daily. She sort of dialed in on the symptoms and new when her feet were about to get bad m, so she would lay off the meds for a few days. I tried like hell to get her to look into some alternative treatments, but she refused and only wanted to follow the doctors advice.55 yo, The first 24 chemo, not in a row, I had the pump. 4-5 hours in the chair on Thursdays, work Friday pump off Sat am. Felt off till Sunday then pretty normal. 2 surgeries, first removed 12" colon/rectum(no bag), burned liver spots on left side. 2nd surgery removed right side of liver(Jan 2021). 5 months or so later CEA started to go up, CT showed spots on liver. 12 chemos, knocked it down, cut down to 2 drugs, then just the 70 pills every other week, after about 3 months of that CEA up, spots on liver, resume pills and 1 chemo drug (vectabix).
Fingers crack, big toes only swell up and bleed. Every other Friday. Bass Pro is in DesMoines so I stop by once in a while. S&W 2.0 10mm $610 ready for optic. I think 3 mags, 45 10mm should scare them away.
Future SIL, played FB at Central/Pella, he can out run me, but I can still shoot better.
I don’t want this to sound insensitive, but is she in remission? I ask because ex MIL just got diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer and it’s spread to liver. Nonsmoker, just crazy how the body works.Dang bro. If you don’t mind me asking, how old are you? My ex wife was diagnosed with stage 4 colorectal in 2011, at the age of 27. After several years of being clean following her surgery and continued routine treatment, she finally passed after 9 years of it. Diagnosed summer of 2011, passed December 2020. It apparently adapted to the treatments each time they changed up treatments. Finally just ran out of options. Had a friend of mine who’s wife went to Mexico for treatment and came out fine. Unfortunately, big pharma runs the show in this country and there is too much money to be made in the treatmentI don’t want this to sound insensitive, but is she in remission? She’s headed to MD Anderson today.
Yeah, she was a fighter and tough as nails. Plus, she remained positive about it even on her worse days, which is why I think she beat the odds as long as she did. Seek alternative treatments you can do for yourself. Things like food grade hydrogen peroxide, black nativa seed, apricot seeds. Not a doctor by any means, but a lot of research out there on those things. Tried to get my ex to try them, but she was a bit stubborn about a lot of things, this included. Hang in there brother9 years a long time. 14% 5 year survival rate starting with stage 4. Liver surgeon only DR to give a me a specific guess at 30%. Oncologist just tosses out other patients getting same treatments and for how long. I've quit asking him. Bought a motorcycle from a widow last year, he was 46 yo, same chemo I had, his body couldn't take it, lasted 8 months.
Yeah my feet hurt, first few steps a lot, but it eases up. Don't want to bump those big toes though. A normal stub x 5, I keep with work boots on a lot, especially when my other daughter's golden comes to visit.
Odd thing, the 5 hour treatments was $11,700, 1 hour now $11,000. $5-600,000 so far.
