Davenport Assumption and Heelan

Combined 0-8 ! thought both would be down but not this bad. Heelan had to replace all everything Hazekamp but losing to a woeful North program? Things must really be bad at that once proud school judging from football finish, b-ball start, v-ball coach mess, and board talk. Assumption has some nice young players and play a brutal schedule so their record could be misleading but still 0-8 for these two teams.

North is much improved this year, and they’re far from a “woeful” program. Look at how many state appearances they’ve had since 2000, and tell me they’re woeful. Sure they’ve had a couple down years but who doesn’t. Now a woeful basketball program in the MRAC is Thomas Jefferson. The MRAC overall is pretty solid, and underrated as a basketball conference.

MRAC is usually pretty strong with 4a AL and East and normally 3a Heelan and SBL. Noticed North has hardly won since Tillo days a few years back. Will be a tough conference if they are improving. Seen where West is ranked this year.

i agree....Davenport Assumption record is very misleading , but a whole lot different than heelan record.. assumption has started winning now, and their loose,s are too very good 4a teams, and very close looses...when assumption hits the 3a tournament..they can make some noise, that are my thoughts

Heelan boys are bad top to bottom. Varsity all the way to freshmen teams are just bad. It's going to be a LONG 4 years for Heelan hoops.
