Here is the scoop on our Boone team. We were senior heavy last year. We have only a couple boys playing this year that even saw varsity action last year, so they are growing up fast. We opened against a solid Ballard team and stayed with them until mid third quarter when we had a TD called back......Last Friday's game against Gilbert? They are as good as we had heard they were. They are solid, but I predict injuries will be their nemesis. I saw very little depth on their roster......Both Ballard and Gilbert are well coached teams.... fun to see how far they will go this year.

Boone will get better...the young men are working hard and know they have their hands full this year. Don't count us out just yet.......

Combined record of WC's opponents so far is 16-9 while the combined record of IF's opponents so far is 17-8. I was originally leaning towards Iowa Falls, but I'm swaying over to Webster City. Should be a close game.
