City High seems to be getting worse each week and Prairie seems better each week. Prairie by 14+

Does anybody know why this is a Thursday game? I admit I haven't dug around to try to find out myself, but I know it's not Iowa's homecoming. They don't even play this week. So I'm just a little curious as to why they decided to go with a Thursday game.

I'm pretty sure it is Thursday because Friday is Yom Kippur, a Jewish holiday. I remember City playing Thursday home games in the past because of this, and some other schools seem to be doing it now.
