Thats not going to happen for Belle Plaine. Their only chance to get in is an upset of Hudson. Forcing a 3-way tie for their district. Alburnett beat Belle Plaine in week 2 and owns a head to head tie breaker on the Plainsmen if each finish 3 in their district, which seems likely to happen.

As far as your bracket, its going to be a bit of a mess if 2 east-side teams get in as wildcards. And CBSA losing kinda threw a wrench in how everyone likely perceived things to play out. But pekin going to SW Valley (yikes on travel, although someone is gonna get hosed with travel it would seem) and CBSA vs gehlen (two 2nd place finishers) seems unlikely to me.

I forgot about their head to head at the beginning of the year. Thanks and I will have to adjust that. As for two #2 seeds playing each other, I think it happens as there are only 7 #1 seeds and I don’t see an at large playing a #2 unless it simplifies travel. The east having more teams does throw a loop in there for travel. Why I wish they had neutral sites.

Two runner ups will play each other just like last year. Odds are that GR gets sent to the west side and plays garrigan first round. It's what makes the most sense. Then you can pair up Britt with west sioux and can do southwest valley and gehlan

After looking at your pairings a second time, and hearing your and GoPa logic, I have to say the pods are probably about as good as can be set up. But I think if form holds then Nashua-Plainfield or Alburnett will claim that Belle Plaine spot.

I’d feel for Pekin though. Neutral site would be nice but would stink as district winner to not get a home game, so rock and a hard place there. Neutral site for 2nd round when two district winners are playing would be nice to see.

I am staying with my earlier prediction and take the SA Falcons to win it all. They suffered an upset a week ago which might have been the best thing that's happened all year. Time will tell.
