Lisbon ahead of EB? While their score was relatively close, statistically EB dominated.

I really thought about East Buchanan and Lisbon and what to do. I ended up keeping Lisbon just in at #10 and East Buchanan just on the edge. I was not at the game and will be honest I don't know as much about that area as some others. So any input on those top teams in that district along with others in the areas would be great. Lisbon has been highly ranked all year, so they will get everyone's best shot, so they may get by with close wins but wins are wins. It was close Friday, so from afar hard to tell what the game came down to. That district is very sound and quite frankly may be the best in class A. I will be honest rankings are not easy and just creating conversations positive or negative. If you don't like them that is perfectly fine but give a good logical reason besides your team getting maybe not the respect you think. Want to call them poor that's fine but give me a reason or feedback I try to be open and honest. I appreciate the questioning Zowwy21.

I was at this game and think that east buc should be ranked above Lisbon after the win. In my opinion after watching the game, both teams play very hard and have good defenses. I felt like both offenses couldn't get much going, Lisbon had chances to score and east buc scored on a lucky fourth down throw into the end zone and a long td run before the half on a missed tackle. I feel like Lisbon was the better team but couldn't overcome the mistakes made. I haven't seen wapsie play this year but expect this game to be good. I Agree that this district is very tough this year and hope it represents at least three teams in the playoffs again

Didn't Pekin just get destroyed by Sully? Belle Plaine schedule is backloaded. They only played one decent team in Alburnet. They finish with rival BGM, then Gladbrook and Hudson. I predict they finish 5-4.

The 35-7 score of the Sully-Pekin game was not indicative of what truly happened. A few busted coverages gave L-S some cheap touchdowns, but overall I do believe L-S was the better team. That would be an interesting matchup if they met again in the playoffs.

I would agree with this statement. Pekin had injuries early in the contest and statistically they weren't bad. LS is very solid but I wouldn't write Pekin off either as they moved the ball on LS as well as anyone all season and it was apparent losing their fullback was affecting their offense. LS didn't do much in the 2nd half as Pekin shut them down outside of one play. Funny how one bad quarter really cost Pekin alot of credit to the season they have had. It would be a interesting rematch no doubt and LS rightfully should be favored going in.
