China. We all know that you are the ultimate winner now. Your evil regime, only surpassed by the likes of Hitler and Stalin, will now emerge as the world's superpower. I'm sure that you'll go in dry, but please know that I'm considering running for POTUS. My platform will be simple and singular. I will nuke the living shit out of you. Go fvck yourself.

You say that as you watch President Biden take the oath of office on your Chinese made TV and reply to this on your Chinese made smartphone. Most every where you look you can see something made in China. So what is YOUR solution to the China problem? I work with a lot of very smart people in different industrialized countries who would like to hear some ideas.

There's no easy solution, which you know. It's been decades of bad decisions that have gotten us to where we are now.

Step 1 would be not to bend over and self apply the lube though, which Biden and this administration will likely do.

I say we pander to them like Biden plans to. I think focusing on important things like joining a climate accord that helps China is wonderful. I would bring up tariffs and restarting American industry, but you would bitch about how those were implemented before. Since you are about to witness more government regulation of American business under the Biden administration, I'm sure that will do wonders.

I know that you don’t give a shit since ultimately this all helps you financially.

Is everyone there safe? Did all those bad, white, Trump supporting National Guardsmen attack like Steve Cohen implied? Walls don't work per Dems yet the walls around DC rival the Great Wall of Gator's China.

Your memory is shorter than than your dick. I really am an American and I would love to see a renewed era of industrialization. I think it can happen but we have to first have a plan to build capacity to produce that which Trump wanted to tariff. To do otherwise is a tax on the bier. It’s not that complicated.

My company is doing just that... we built a huge manufacturing plant in KC and stopped exportation from China to outside countries. more manufacturing companies must do the same.

However... There is a huge mathematical problem. If you accept that the US was at 96% employment (pre-Covid ) and need to increase GDP 30% to make replace what we buy from China... where do the workers come from to fill those jobs?. I’ll wait on that because I know that all of the folks here have a theiry

You didn't complain about how the tariffs were implemented by Trump? You lying sack. I'll give you credit by saying that you were for tariffs, but you abso-freakin-lutely bitched about how they were done by Trump.

As far as your last question, I would ask you how skilled do these workers need to be? I would assume that there are plenty of people around the world who'd move to the US in a heartbeat if they could gain employment.

Oh I don’t know, I sort of remember someone saying something like let’s put “America first” and focusing on the industrious nature of our own workforce and negotiate more fair trade agreements. Oh...that’s right, we did that (and rather successfully I might add) until China “mysteriously” discovered a “new” virus strain a gnats fart from the Wuhan Institute of Virology before the ink was dry on said agreement...just a coincidence I’m sure.

Well in macroeconomics (you’re not the only business person on this board bunky) increasing productivity has continually allowed us to produce more, with less but if we find ourselves short on labor we could always allow several large caravans of illegal migrants from south of the border...Oh! wait...

96% employed...but tons of them would LOVE steady higher paying jobs. The menial jobs they are currently doing can become automated (thus creating even more better paying jobs) or go to teenagers as they were always intended.
