Prairie City-Monroe (2A) at Pella Christian (1A) may be proven to be a pretty good game by the end of the year.

1A is stacked with big games this first week! PCM vs Pella Christian should be a good one. Good little rivalry as well. If this was last year, wow would be a heck of a game especially the way they were playing at the end of the season. Lots of new pieces minus Cummings (PCM) for both, so will be interested to see how each team performs.

Last year PC won handily, 42-20, in the opening week match-up, which was the most points PC gave up prior to their only defeat, the season ending 45-43 loss to Regina. But, you're right, PC has lost a lot from that team. They will have a different look offensively, but I expect they will be good again.

PCM will also be breaking in a new QB, but they definitely have talent returning.

It should be a fun game.
