Ok I don't have much of a say as I haven't seen most of these kids play but just a couple of my own opinions here:
1.) How isn't the states all team leading receiver in Derek Schurke who was by far the best player on that team, not a 1st teamer. Is Thode good, yes, not going to take away anything from the kid, but Schurke deserved to be there more I feel, only thing that held him back a little is he played on a 7-4 team compared to a 10-1 team. Tell me that if ArWeVa finished the year 10-1 and Janesville was 7-4 would Thode make first team over Schurke still?
2.) How is Nick Mangrich listed as RB in the 3rd team. Didn't he play QB most of the season in their rotating system with him and Bagby? While I understand the kid may be all state caliber but if there are kids better than him at his position, don't just find a different position to stick him in and punish the other kids who actually did play the position that might have earned a spot on the team but instead got bumped out because the state felt someone else was better but played a different position

Just shows how political these really are in my opinion here.

Players have been earning all state spots in positions they never play since the beginning, and there's nothing wrong with it.

Plus, if you know bosco, mangrich was for all intents and purposes a RB.

Ya I agree he might have been a RB...but if he lined up at the QB position then you have to classify him as a QB. Don't make exceptions to positions to include a kid who didn't play there all year. Same with the state and the 115 BEDS number. Makes me sick looking at all the schools coming down working with a number well over 115 because the state made an exception to them. Ok rant done now.
