Colo Opponents

It looks like Colo will have some tough games this last week of the season with Janesville, South Hamilton, and Meskwaki. How will Colo do after not playing too many tough opponents throughout the year? I would think they would handle SH and Meskwaki ok, but I am predicting a loss today at Janesville.

Depending on health for Meskwaki, I'm expecting a closer game than last. Definitely will be a great environment to be in for that game! I talked with Colo's Coach after the first match up, and we discussed this last week for them and Meskwaki, and we both agreed it was for the better regardless of the outcome of each contest. I'd rather go 11-10, and lose to tough teams rather than go 21-0 and walk through everybody. Adversity for any squad is always a good thing.

I believe Colo is a better squad than Janesville. Meskwaki had Janesville up 10 in the 4th and nearly blew the game, but Amlie was shut down the entire night which is their best player. I'm actually thinking about making the trip to Janesville to see this game. I'm giving Colo the nod in this match up'

Nice call on Colo beating Janesville...I thought Janesville would have the advantage at home.

Janesville is a tough environment to play in. Really small gym and court! Wasn't expecting a 20 point win though!

Is everyone healthy for Meskwaki I noticed Tahawa and Jonas Bear didn't play vs Cal

Tahahwah most likely won't be playing tonight. Rolled his ankle in a game last week against East Marshall, and Jonas hurt his wrist about a month ago and he reinjured it last week as well. Nonetheless, the boys are ready to roll! But with injuries this late in the season, it's best to look ahead to district play and making that final push.

Boys are really short handed tonight.. have 2 on the bench, only 4 of the 7 players have played significant time, 2 are essentially newcomers since after xmas break! Boys playing will give it their all though, I know that's for sure!
