Big rivalry game up in NW Iowa. Both teams should be talented.

WL has nothing but a few good linemen coming back, and CL//GLR has everyone back. I will take the athletes over the lineman in this game. Wildcats won't get there 3rd straight. I predict a big win for the lions. 28-7.

To say WL has nothing but a few good OL returning is a bit of an understatement. They have one of the best OL in the state in Newborg and in a game where if you control the line generally you win the game I'd feel pretty good heading in if I was WL. That being said the athletes that you mention for CL-GLR are legitimate studs man they can make some plays. The word coming out of rocky has been good to hear on how they may be trying to use those athletes. This is always a great game fun to watch awesome to play in its a special thing for Lyon County. Growing up as a kid you dream about making big plays in this game these kids will be jacked. I think the Lions felt like last years game they were in it but the size and skill of WL just overtook the game at the end, that did a lot for a motivational factor. The Lions want this game bad I'm going close game 20-14 CL-GLR. Thank god footballs back!!!!!!!!!!

Wow homer-ism at its finest right there. IF CLGLR are thinking anything like you are they are going to be in a world of hurt. I expect a good game between too good teams. This will be a game to see if CLGLR is ready to take that next step. I'm not quite sure they are yet, maybe by the end of the year but I think West Lyon gets this one 14-6.

I agree it's a little of a homer pick, but the fact is WL lost all of it production last year. By the end of the season the wildcats will be a tough out for any 1A team. Right now I feel the lions have a better team, and I really don't think it's even close. I guess we will find out tonight. Good Luck to both teams tonight. I hope both teams stay healthy.
