Genuine question since I am not familiar with him at all...only know what I have seen on the field and it has been impressive. Curious to hear what everyone thinks about Clayberg at the next level. Does Pella's run thru the playoffs with him leading the way cause some late D1 offers to happen? Similar to Jewell and Decorah a couple of years ago. Hoping so since more D1 football players from Iowa is good for the sport in general.

Legit Question
I believe so I look at how well Jewell,Coble and Blythe are at Iowa right now all 3a players.
Darrian Cotton at Iowa State is playing a lot so I see the kid being at the same level has them at the same age
This may seem strange but I wish the kid had more swagger to him a little nasty but that's not in his DNA I guess but all them other ones had it..

Isn't he a little undersized for Div 1? I mean the kid is lighting quick and very hard runner. I just don't see him being a QB, RB in college. I am sure he could play DB, but I think the hawks are loaded in the secondary right now. I don't know about ISU or UNI.
I am sure he could play multiple positions for UNI.

He perhaps could be a late walk-on I suppose. I know the hawks are trying to get the Byer kid from Kennedy to grey-shirt.

He is 5'11 and a full 200 lbs, and can carry another 10-15 lbs pretty easily, and is a strong kid. Speed kills the higher the level, but instincts and athleticism "in-game" matter a lot, too. Could fit in as a strong safety/run support nickel LB probably, and possibly in a slot back somewhere?

Plenty of guys play D1 at his size. Every program has a scheme so to say he won't play this or that,,,it depends on where he goes and how he fits in the program. I wouldn't say he is lightening quick because of who is playing against....lightening quick takes on a whole different meaning when you get out there and look...but there aren't as many 4.3 - 4.4 guys out there as you might think...they are elite in terms of speed.

Clayberg has football all over him. somebody will find a spot for him

Isn't the kid from kennedy going to ND State?

Ford26, I agree, I believe Noah himself has said that most schools are looking at him on defense. I believe he could play D1 at the next level. I wish him luck and can't wait to see what his future brings.

I would take Beyer over Clayberg. Both are outstanding players and can be utilized in a lot of ways but Beyer's size will generate more interest. Lot's of outstanding little men but not nearly as many big men.

Clayberg has indicated that he will probably be a DB, and he is plenty big for that. Hard to say where he ends up and what offers he ends up with, but it would hard to imagine some Big 10 or Big 12 schools not taking a chance on him. But, that's why those guys make the big $, and I don't. The guy is just a baller and will make any team better that he is on. He also has the speed and physicality to compete with the big boys. Hope he lands in a great spot for him to utilize his talents.

Shaun Beyer from Kennedy had an offer from, I want to say South Dakota, but it might have been ND State. I don't know if he verbaled or not, I don't think so.

But just in the past couple of weeks he's gotten an offer from Nebraska and several other D-1 programs are looking at him, too. I think the chances of him going to the Dakotas are very slim at this point.

Beyer has a verbal (fairly certain) with NDSU but the D1 schools are starting to sniff around, led by Nebraska. Will be interesting to see how it all plays out.
