Class 2A - District 3

OK guys what is your prediction of how this season will go for our district? I think we got one of the hardest districts in 2A. Below is what i think will be the final standings. Let me here your ideas!!!!!


1. North Fayette Valley
2. New Hampton
3. Center Point-Urbana
4. Waukon
5. Dyersville Beckman
6. Oelwein
7. Waterloo Columbus

I'll say this

1. NFV (tons returning off of last years team)
2. New Hampton (I would have picked them if McDonald was healthy, still a very good team)
3. CPU (another good team that will find their way to the post season, and possibly will win a game or two)
4. Beckman (to me they make sense here, I don't see them not making the playoffs)
5. Waukon (they lost everything, they will still be competitive, but in this district they get out horsed)
6. Columbus (They should be better than the last couple of years, but still not very good)
7. Oelwein (Not much good going for the Huskies)

Here are my predictions

1 North Fayette Valley (too much talent for everybody including New Hampton)
2 New Hampton (lost McDonald is big but they return enough talent with Frerichs)
3 Center Point-Urbana (taking a stab right here don't know much about them)
4 Waukon (more talent than everybody thinks but not enough)
5 Beckman Dyersville (new coach is question mark and lost their qb, rb and wr)
6 Oelwein (dropped from 3a this year probably help them in the long run)
7 Waterloo Columbus (winless last year)

1. North Fayette (although can't wait to see them open with Decorah)
2. New Hampton (will miss McDonald both ways)
3. Waukon (yeah lots gone, but lots back, juniors are good)
4. Center Point-Urbana (stud RB returns along with others)
5. Dyersville-Beckman (lots of holes to fill, new coach)
6. Oelwein (somebody has to finish 6th)
7. Waterloo Columbus (they will turn it around someday)

Oelwein is awful. They are fortunate that WC will be even worse. Waukon should dust both teams.
