Class 1A Preason

I know we’re in the heart of football right now, but anyone have thoughts on heading into next season? Class 1A seems to be WIDE open next season and I could easily see 8-10 teams win it all next season. Nice to have some parity back in class 1A with grand view now out of the picture

Why is GV out of the picture? There are a lot of teams that will have a good chance to do well this year. Several top teams return a lot from last year.

Because they didn’t even have JV last year and all there recruits graduated. I saw a picture of there returning players and let’s just say it’ll be a down year. I’m not saying there awful or anything of the sort, just that they aren’t really title contenders. Unless of course they bring in more recruits

I think we could be a very good team this season. Had a lot of drama last season with the firing of our coach. With all that out of the way we return 3 starters and a really good senior class who compliments the main 3 very well. All of them are good spot up shooters and play hard on defense

Northwest Iowa will have two title contenders in Remsen St. Mary's and South O'Brien. Hopefully one team goes south and they don't have to see each other (outside of conference play) until the well.

It will depend on each teams record. Last year Remsen lost I believe 4-5 games in the regular season so can see why the state did what they did. If they are both say, 19-2 or something along those lines, they will split them up
