Lived there back in the 80’s and loved it, but today? Not no but hell no!
 
This type of thing is becoming very common...professional squatters. They know the law to the letter and they live to subvert it.

If you rent a property out, pay a competent lawyer to write up the lease/renters agreement so that you can follow reasonable terms of eviction.

Last time I rented - house in between this one and the last one I owned - the owner was a lawyer.

Let's just say that factored heavily into how we engaged with each other as landlord and tenant. LOL Dude was uptight AF about everything.

One dude solved that problem by waiting until the squatters left the house and then
moved in, changed the locks, sat inside with a shotgun, and told them they can peacefully get their shit out of the house, or it would go to the garbage….. seize possession and let them figure out how to get the law to move the rightful owner out
