1) IC Regina - another week, another blowout. Xavier loss gives them confidence for week 8
2) South Winn - 60 pts. Big game next week @ Dike-NH
3) FDSE - Dominating win over Madrid. At home v Ogden next week
4) West Branch - 558 yards of offense is a school record. Poor 1st half, dominant 2nd.
5) Saint Ansgar - not taking away from NP, but this game exploits Saint weakness: no passing cant win title
6) West Lyon - big win v Hinton. Normalcy (of winning) continues to regenerate
7) IKM - undefeated, but D1 is no bueno. Not impressed enough....#brokenrecord
8) Ogden - Points on points. Are they a top 5 team? We find out in week 7
9) Dike-NH - another dominant win, even playing ugly. Host #2 South Winn next week
10) North Cedar - Lots of offense, still holes on defense. But top 10 worthy. #2 seed from D5

Honestly, the bottom 4 are pretty fluid.

I think the top 6 deserve to be ranked in the top 6.

North Cedar may have a pretty legit argument to be in there, as well as Ogden.

We will see what Ogden does this week.

IKM is undefeated, and that is great. But who have they played? Their district is, well, not good. Easily one of the 2 worst in the state (D8 is the worst, hands down)

what is the correct definition of district/conference strength?

* average strength of all teams in district
* average strength playoff teams in district

I don't have a strong opinion; what are your thoughts?

Personally, it's a combination, but I put more weight into the top-to-bottom strength.
