BH/RV vs CL/GLR For District 1 championship

Chibull- not sure where you heard that but Van Whye is playing this week. Since he is playing I see this being a very close game. He is a difference maker. Other issue- BHRV has not had to play their starters the entire game since week 3. Fatigue could become an issue if it is close. Will be a one score game- 27-21- could go either way.

I dont see fatigue really playing an issue they played dang near the full game last week and there is just too many weapons on offense for CL/GLR to handle

In looking at quickstats I would say that the QB isn't the difference maker for them. I'd say the one that seems to be the difference maker is the older van beek kid.

What?!?! I am not sure how you came to that conclusion! Van Wyhe has not played the last 2 weeks and still leads the team in rushing! He IS the difference maker on that team. The past 2 weeks would have been 20-30 point blowouts if he is playing...

So the only thing you're basing your thinking off is that he has more rushing yards? Not on how defenses will possibly plan on them or how he affects the special teams or how he affects a team's offensive plan only that he has more rushing yards? If you look at the whole body of work which guy has a bigger impact on the game? I am not saying Van Whye isn't a good player but if I was going to pick which one has a bigger impact on the team as a whole and which one being out would hurt the team more I stay with my original comment that it's Van Beek.

So how are you coming to that assumption? If you look at who replace Van Wyhe it has a huge impact on the game. ON Defense and Offense I would argue that Van Wyhe is a much larger impact. IF he would not have had to sit out- his stats would be much higher. So again- what is your reasoning to Van Beek being more important??

Van Whye goes out you put in a back up QB but still have the top receiver, one of the top rushers, top defenders and the top return man. Take out Van Beek and teams can load the box and play man to man against the receivers, to make them one dimensional. Van Beek is a threat to burn teams with both receiving and running. Van whye can hurt you by running but if Van Beek is out who does he throw to? He's got 5 Picks 1 a pick 6. 3 fumble recoveries one of which he took in for 6 and 42 tackles. Van Whye has 3 picks, 1 a pick 6, 1 fumble recovery, and 41 tackles. Yes Van Whye has played in 2 less games so that does make a difference. But Van Beek is always around the ball making a play on it from the looks of the fumble recoveries and interceptions. Once again I'm not saying Van Whye isn't a good player I just see Van Beek as the more important cog in their machine. Let me ask you what are you basing the Van Whye is more important comments off of? If CL/GLR had played the last 2 games with Van Beek would they have still won? They won without Van Whye they just won by less than you say they should have. If Van Beek hadn't been there for the Cherokee game can you honestly say they'd have won? They had 3 touchdowns, all by Van Beek, plus he had a fumble recovery. I'd say that he's kind of the do everything guy for them. If you look at who'd they'd replace Van Beek with I'd say that would have a bigger impact on the game.
