Not just because of the score but they really had the most dominant player in maybe 8man history in Nate Meier. The dude ran over and through everyone. And he was the blueprint for a dominant 8man box defender. Scarborough was a good athlete too. I can't picture any of the other teams that have been in the ship since could have beaten that team. Ask Murray how good they were and they had some unbelievable athletes, Scroggie, Halls, can't remember the RB's name, and a couple others too. So they didn't beat a bad team 81-0, they beat a team that beat DB in the semis like 57-55 I think.

Fremont Mills that year would be my vote.

Murray also played their JV in that title game since a bunch of their varsity got caught poaching deer... Meier was a stud tho

I totally agree with Fremont- Mills. Meier was a flat out beast on both sides of the ball. They crushed a damn talented Armstrong-Ringstead in the final.

I would have loved to see A-R's 2010 championship team against the 2011 Fremont-mills team. A-R beat Fremont mills in the semis in 2010 and had a ton of talent, size, and speed. MMC's qb broke Spencer Clausen of A-R's passing touchdown record in the state title game tonight with 6.

Nate Meier was great but I believe A-R running back Tyler tonderum or Whigam from Stanton were more dominant for their careers.

Don't disagree but we r talking about 1 team, 1 season. 1 title game I believe. So I take F-M over any of them.

I agree with 13forever. AR's team in 2010 would be the best team I've watched in 8man history. Size, speed, and super athletic all around the roster.

Actually Murray beat Clarksville that year in the semis. DB played Murray the next year in 2012 and DB won 78-76. DB still 11-man in 2011, but I would agree that 2011 Fremont is the best team I've seen in 8-man... I believe even if Murray had those kids in the finals it would be closer but Fremont would still win by a lot in my opinion.
