Am I reading that right? Mepo is a 10 point dog at home and Mid-Prairie is a 24 point dog? If so, I'll take both and the points.

IMHO, Mediapolis as a 6 point favorite and Albia as a 11 point favorite. Not complaining about your rankings as there isn't a perfect one out there, just find it interesting.

Pretty confusing. Sounds like MepoDawg is complaining Mepo is a dog for Round 2. I'm surprised how many people really care what a computer thinks but I have to admit I've been following the bcmoore predictions a couple years and they are pretty accurate. I think like Mediapolis, most of the top teams have scored their 45-50 points by halftime and let the reserves finish the game. But want to compliment BCMoore for his weekly rankings as it produces a lot of good conversation and good information. And like being an official, hard to understand why someone does something that usually just opens you up to a lot of criticism?

Complaining? I didn't start an argument, try to prove him wrong, or cry and whine about it. I asked if I was reading it right then said I'd take the underdogs and points, that is if I was betting on them. He asked me what I thought and I gave my opinion. How is that complaining? Sounds like a conversation to me. I may have complained in previous weeks but I know it doesn't matter and everything is settled on the field. Sounds like to me that you're complaining about me even posting.

Sorry - didn't mean to get you defensive. I just know in the past couple weeks you have felt Mepo hasn't gotten much respect in these rankings and I was just more trying to credit him for posting these. Good Luck to Mediapolis Monday. : )

Well, it looked like sarcasm to me, but you and orsky have been serving the ko aid for d5 pretty heavily, glad the D6 posters seem to be a bit more humble. So if our d5 go down. We never said how great anyone ones!!!

My beef was Mepo not being higher not all of D5 which is weak after Mepo and Mid-Prairie. I did not say their district was any better than others. If I did my references were to last year. I know why Mepo isn't ranked high this poll and it's understandable. My beef was more of their position compared to Mid-Prairie.

SEPAlumni, you again make statements about me that I haven't made. You have been trying to stir up an argument, but I'm not pumping D5. Unlike MepoDawg who is a fan of his team, I'm an observer. My comments begin as specific to BC and then you jump in. I don't care who wins the games, I am more in the discussion for the sake of predicting outcomes. Good luck to your teams.

I agree Dawg, it is a total lack of respect or a major computer glitch. L-M was only a 3 point dog and yet it was 35-0 before Mepo backed off the gas. I don't know that they are better than Albia, but they are much better than the other 3 teams from District 6.

No retraction needed, Mepo won and beat the spread by 15. That includes throwing 3 INT's in the first half. Mepo is better and overcame their mistakes to win. Sorry SEP no retraction for you.
