I don't know much about Pleasantville and Avoca so I won't comment. I would not choose Wapello or Wilton to be in the top 16 (I know this has been discussed previously). Otherwise, I pretty much agree with the rest but not necessarily in the exact order. Based on performance to date, it's hard to argue the top 5. Regina's overall stats not extremely impressive so far this year. However, in my opinion, until you beat the champ, they're still the champ. Should be some competitive games coming up in playoffs that will decide the truth.

Wilton should be a good test for Regina this week, Sigourney pushed Regina. As far as Wapello goes I would have to see them play another team to gauge them. They didn't look very solid against Regina.

Cid or others,
I have heard that Wilton sometimes plays a little "chippy." Likes to get in a little "extra curricular activity." Since they are playing the role of underdog this week, I am sure they will bring their best shot.

I haven't noticed as much chippiness lately. There have been some changes there that have brought that level down.

Doesn't look like the Beavers have beat anyone with a decent record beside Tipton. Combined record of teams Wilton has defeated is 9-16. The Regals will roll in this one.

You never know. The story going into the Bellevue/West Branch game last week was that Bellevue hadn't beaten anyone with more than 1 win.
I think it might be a tough game.

Regina doesn't seem to have too many let downs. 6-time champions, playing larger schools, getting everyone's best shot, etc.... They seem to approach games on a one-game-at-a-time mentality so I don't see them looking by Wilton or any one else any time soon. This should be their toughest game before playoffs and I am guessing they are well aware of that and not looking ahead.

excellent point Pine. Bellevue did turn out to be a force & made very few mistakes compared to the Bears.

I am assuming your "changes" refer to coaching changes?

I don't think it all has to do with coaching, there was just a run there where the kids were just chippy. Ejections, high penalty counts, that's not all on coaching. Some would say it was tolerated though so I think I waffle on this issue.
