You are a homer fan. Fouls were called on everybody. IMO the refs called it too time, but that he hwasn’t the reason LSU won. Both Reese and the point guard, Morris had to sit out a big part of the first half, both LSU best players. That when the LSU subs built a 17 point lead.
Reese classless? Reese didn’t get a technical for telling a ref to FO. Clark did.Clark talked crap the entire game.
LSU didn’t win the game because the refs called fouls. That was pretty equal. They won because they were the best team. All season LSU won games in the paint. Our guards had a bad reputation for being shooters. Iowa has won most of their games because of Clark’s shooting and shutting “paint teams“out in the paint. When one of the media people suggested that would be Iowa’s strategy to Mulkey, she replied they give our Guards space like and they will shoot lights out. They will also defend well. That’s what happened.
LSU also as I said more athletic and could guard better And rebound better.
With age is supposed to come wisdom, you’re proof positive that doesn’t always apply. Any objective person who watched the game saw the awful officiating, just look it up online….assuming you know how. Now granted LSU was shooting out their collective arses, so good for them.

So you’re not willing to acknowledge when shitty, biased and inconsistent officiating sets the tone for a game it doesn’t have a negative consequence? Giving a fourth foul to the best player in the nation at a critical juncture for doing nothing wrong….. seriously? Mulkey said before the game they were going to be very aggressive and they were, it worked out brilliantly. What she couldn’t count on before the game is the officials going along with her plan.
I’ll agree with that. Even a stopped clock is right twice a day.

You finally got something right. But she is the best women’s basket ball coach in the country now.
You need to go and see the write up on the Iowa Rivals site. LSU got their share of bad calls. Reese missed the entire second quarter. Morris and another starter was out of the second quarter the last 6 minutes. So LSU played most of the 2nd quarter missing 3 starters most of the second quarter. That’s when the LSU reserves took a 17 point lead at 1/2 time. Iowa never recovered though they made
Iowa made some good runs in the second but LSU rallied back.
Maybe you should listen to what Clark said about the game in the after game show. She said, “You have to give LSU credit. We couldn’t stop their offense. They kept making tough 3s and a lot of tough little inside jumpers.”
As far as the trash talk by Reese making that finger thing and people bitched about it, a bunch of media including Fox Sports said Clark had been doing that in the tournament to other teams, why could not Angel do it? Clark is considered one of the most trash talking players in womens basketball.

Clark has done this to virtually every team Iowa has played in the tournament. Did you go read the Iowa writeup on the game.
It would also be a first if you would congratulate the LSU women like I congratulate others when they have a team that wins a championship.

Clark has done it to every team she played and beat. Fox News is unbiased and they said. Point of fact is Clark is one of the biggest trash talkers in women’s basketball And is known for it. But she is straight when ask about the game, Clark said, “Give LSU the credit. They some very difficult 3s and 2s. We could not stop their offense.”
The final score of 102 to 85 bears that out. It was a new record in the NCG. I am not sure that Iowa scored 85 points after they reached the sweet 16. The big problem as Clark said, was they could stop LSU’s offense and LSU got some stops and rallied back every time Iowa made a run.
I’m not sure the foul calls has much to do with it though they had to be managed. As I pointed out LSU lost 3 starters in the second quarter, the best player for the last minute or 2 of the first quarter and all the second quarter. LSU subs did a great job. One of the announcers commented when the subs were playing That LSU had a deeper roster. It was a solid competitive game until the last 3-4 minutes When it was obvious LSU would win. Neither team had anything to be embarrassed about.

you shoukd be ashamed of yourself. AL has a great women‘s gymnastic team. If you are not watching that occasionally you are missing some awesome sights. Those young ladies do competitive excersizes that are as dangerous in their way as playing football. They do things that with one little slip they could be hurt badly. They are exceptionally highly trained athletes.
As a matter of interest one of LSU‘s gymnasts may be the highest paid NIL student of all. She started a website and has about 50,000 or more followers . womens products advertise on it and I understand that she made over a $1MM the first year of NIl and someone told me its about $3 MM per year now. When the LSU team was in Salt Lake this year they had a riot from people trying to get in LSU practice to see her. They had to station cops at every entrance.
He really has no shame. Bill is pretty sensitive so I’ll stay out of this since it’s between y’all.

I’ve been to a couple of Bama’s gymnastics meets when I was a student at Bama with the girl I was dating at the time. What they do is indeed impressive.
I suppose I want Bama to win, but I don’t give two schitts whether or not they do.
