Some great matchups. Another top 3A team goes down Monday night with the MOC loss to a very good Boyden Hull, which I had top in their 1A class in my (now very old) pre-season predictions. Oh, I guess Luke had them #1 in 1A also. (Smiley face). And Boyden Hull lost 71-58 to Sioux Center last Friday night.

Sorry for always asking questions that probably make you guys think, "Man, this guy is clueless," but is there anywhere or anyone that's notable for sharing individual stats to go along with overall final game scores? I often check Max Preps, but if nobody is relaying/updating the game results and box score info, Max Preps isn't good for much beyond knowing the schedule.

Are there any particular sites or even specific Twitter accounts that are good to follow for more detailed, "School A over School B, 76-71, so-and-so had XX points" info and that kind of thing, or is it really just a matter of sorting through a hodge podge of random Twitter updates and stuff?

I ask because I enjoy following along with Augie recruits (like MOC-Floyd senior Levi Jansen) during the year, but after searching Twitter for a few minutes, you wouldn't even know MOC-Floyd played George-Little Rock last night. I can't tell if there just aren't any updates happening or if I'm just completely doing the wrong searching and following the wrong people for information.

Anyone have thoughts to any of this rambling? Thanks either way.

DCG beats #6 Perry 67-62

Perry appears to be a better team this year than in the past but I didn't see anything last night that would make me consider them worthy of a ranking.

If they get a lucky draw this could even be a Perry team that makes it to the Well but.....their schedule from the RRC won't do much to toughen them for tougher playoff path.

Mr. Augustana- Sometimes you can Google the local newspaper and get the box score and a little write-up. If you have a lot of time on your hands, you can figure things out from Quik Stats Iowa boys basketball. Sometimes, you can just ask a question on this site and some of the basketball junkies can answer it. On Quik Stats, if you click on a game's score in the team's listings, it will give the box score for that game.
