I don’t take issue with any powerhouse team’s scheduling anymore after I heard Saban speak at length on how hard it was to schedule teams that actually agree to play against you.

It's a 2 for 1, but it doesn't make a ton of sense to me either.

I love the general step-up in the OOC competition in the upcoming years though. In a couple years Bama starts the season @ WVU, vs. USF, vs. FSU. That beats the hell out of a neutral site game then Arkansas State and North Texas.
