I believe Boise St will also get seeded at number 5 because they won their conference. Even though ranked 8 in the AP, they will bet the #5 seed if I understand this thing. Means6,7,8 slide down. Of course, I don’t know what the hell im talking about most of the time

All of those teams will just switch spots. That won't affect teams ranked below them.

The prognosticators didn't believe SMU would drop below Bama in a close loss. The AP dropped them to 12 so this could get VERY interesting.
And how are we supposed to win the national championship in the Music City bowl if we aren't afforded an opportunity to win the Music City bowl...even though, as dhe pointed out, we wouldn't actually need to win the bowl if we were invited. I'm befuddled.
