Ames will win that one. This is a really down time for 4A in eastern Iowa. Wash and Bettendorf will meet in the semi's. But neither of these teams will be tested through out the season like you see in Central Iowa.

This is probably the weakest Iowa City High team in years.

Any word on what the attendance is gonna be like since it's the lead-in to the big game on Saturday?

Bettendorf, North Scott, and Washington are the three best on the East side at this point and only Bettendorf has proved to me they could make a run for the Title against Dowling.

If this was the old format I would say Xavier is in this group also, but those days are gone and 3A will hate that.

Dowling, Waukee, Johnston, and SEP are the best in the West. I would put them in that order currently. I will throw SC West in if they can compete with Dowling, but to this point a win over Heelan looks good on paper and nothing else.
