All State Teams

In looking at the 1-A all state teams I was surprised that Regina didn't have a defender or goalie make the team. Giving up 5 goals for the year I would have thought somebody would have made it.

Sadly I think the all state teams this year lacks credibility. In 1A clearly Regina was the best team with 4-0 wins in all three state games. Yet only 2 players make all-state. For the Regina keeper and defenders to not make either team is a joke. Yet Mid Praire and Des Moines Christian each put three players on the all-state teams. In 3A IC West only gets a couple of players on the all-state teams. As I look over the 3A list there are several players listed as all-state players that I don't think would even start for West High. West High and Regina were loaded in there respective classes and should have been given the proper recognition with all-state selections.
