7/11 2A 1st Team were from the Little Hawkeye Conference. Was that conference really that powerful this year, or were they the only coaches that voted? Perhaps.

And I agree, Zubeen Azari was better than several of the 1st team selections.

Pauly making 2nd Team as a freshman. Wonder if the hype with his move to England played a part in that selection.

City High puts 2 guys on the 3A first team, but doesn't even make the State tournament, getting hammered by Bettendorf in Substate?? West High, who gets third, gets just one? That is just non-sense.

I agree with you Rockeyes. However, I think 3A is a much better representation of all state selections when compared to the 2A selections.

How many games did Schilling play in this year? Wasn't he hurt for awhile?
