What was the offensive game plan? Milroe obviously isn't a great passing QB and I'm not sure that he can ever be one but he can be an OK passing QB if you use his legs and power to soften up the defense.
I see him, at similar stages in their careers, as a slightly better passer than Hurts. Using him as a pocket passer is foolish imo. If that's what you want, put Ty Simpson in the game.
You may as well but Notre Dame is the best team they've played and this was their first road game.
In two weeks the Hawks roll into Columbus, and it ain’t going to be pretty. OSU’s schedule is such that they should go undefeated until the 11/26 Michigan game….but who knows.
