after watching south obrien play possibly the worst team to every play the 1A basketball tourny to a 18-15 halftime score....i dont see them staying close with GR let alone Smoldt.

Worst team ever play???? I think if remember they only lost to Pella Christian by 6 who turns around and knocks off Dike in 2A. Beat two very good teams in Colo and Montezuma to get to state. Were leading at least the 1A class in scoring at 81/game. Ever give any thought as to SOB defense having anything to do with only scoring 15 in the first half and really up until a min to go only 11 pts in the second half. SOB didn't look that great I'll admit but made adjustments and shoot 70% in second half. I think it will be a great game.

Are we just talking Substate, because South O'Brien's district was beyond terrible. They played Siouxland Christian in District Finals. Awful.

I will agree with Substate. The only other team with as tough of a substate was probably West Hancock with GTRA.

For your shot at South O'Brien about them playing possibly the worst team ever in the 1A tournament. I don't have a dog in the fight, and I'm just giving you crap for it is all can't be upset with the way Smoldt performed, he did what he could with what he had.
