ADM - Adel new coach

Their previous coach finally left after 26 years. To say his teams under performed is an understatement.

One of the previous Athletic directors tried to move him on after seeing him play very few players. I recall he even played his starters the wntire game including a ton of 2 way players in a blow out win just to prove a point to the other team.

Any idea if they might hire one of the assistant coaches?

lot of teams play players both ways, heelan does, harlan had some too...the more gifted players usually...its not uncommon

Every school does it...heck even Dowling plays its top tier guys on both sides of the ball in some situations, but I have no doubt Harlan played more guys overall....and especially in blow out wins.

On TeachIowa the posting is active until February 1st, so they may of posted it early, but are going to take it slow in hopes of finding a teaching job and the best candidate.

Just saw on twitter. Coach Garrison Carter leaving Washington, IA to be head coach at ADM.

Looks like ADM hired a young coach with a short, but impressive track record. Looks like a very good hire.
