Many twists and angles...
CF ended CRW's season last year at Kingston. Perhaps the Warriors remember, and they were missing an offensive lineman at the time. CF has been lackluster, but will probably avoid blocked punts and other errors as best they can. CRW hasn't had a close game.
CRK at Bett features irresistable force versus immovable object. CRK is going back to the run and Bett can defense the run. It might come down to CRK defense not being able to put the breaks on Bett's offense. But CRK is hoping that long offensive drives can be achieved as their best defense.
Ames and Williams Stadium...maybe there will be machinations about this game that turn out better than Ames v DME. West Des Moines Dowling will show up and play well.
ICW might be able to lay a surprise on LM. LM has been playing well, but so has ICW. ICW can compete with the best (Bettendorf) and can also not fully achieve their potential. LM has been pretty consistent, except a failure to launch against CRW. This is a potential upset.
Valley is primed and ready to go. Johnston may be game in competing, but Valley will prevail.
Lewis Central is looking to make its mark, but Ankeny is probably ready to defend.
NS versus PV is a head scratcher. PV isn't clicking, but hard to pick against at home.
SEP at Waukee is playoff vet versus a program that wants to make a statement. Waukee is my favorite, at home.
