It seemed like 4A teams required 360 pts or above or a conference championship to qualify under the old 16 team format?
 
360 had you in the discussion. 365 was usually the last spot, which would be 6-3 with 4 bonus opponents. 370 almost always got you in.
 
370 points sounds right....your mock 360 pts and below teams are all #3 and #4 seeds now. But you didn't play 3A schools in the 16 team format (and penalized for it) .

However,
I never liked penalizing 4A teams for playing 3A opponents back in the day...especially if you were a 4A team that was not in a large 4A conference. Plus in 4A non-district play it makes sense to play a nearby 3A rival for a couple of games.
 
In 2007 Des Moines Lincoln finished with a record of 7-2 with 380 final points and did not qualify for the playoffs.
